These are required courses for membership:
C.L.A.S.S. 101, 201, 301 and 401
These courses were created to meet certain needs present in the Body of Christ at Providence, which include the need to (a) familiarize new members with church operations and rules and what is expected of them as members of Providence; (b) encourage and foster spiritual growth in the Body of Christ; and (c) place members in ministries that put into action God’s Word, as well as to meet the needs of fellow members and the surrounding community.
C.L.A.S.S. 101 “Membership” — Primarily for new members and those who are unfamiliar with church operations. This course seeks to ground Christians in the solid foundation of the Bible and acquaint them with Providence as a local church today.
C.L.A.S.S. 201 “Spiritual Maturity” — This course deals with stressing the need for and encouraging spiritual growth in the daily lives of Christians. Developing a consistent prayer life and life applications of Christian principles is the main focus of this class.
C.L.A.S.S. 301 “Discovering and Using Your Spiritual Gifts” — This course places emphasis on ALL believers uncovering and using their spiritual gifts and abilities given by God to promote and advance His kingdom.
C.L.A.S.S. 401 “Discovering My Life Mission” — This course is designed to help the new member discover God’s purpose for their life; to learn how to share the Good News with others; and how to fulfill their mission.
